I refer to my art as ‘dream visions’, a focus that allows me to access the altered reality of dreams.  My inspirations come from visual excitement or a stimulating phrase, as well as dreams.  I like to create an image that enables the mind of the viewer to escape from reality, with the ability to cross boundaries and feel there is permission for nonsense.  I am fascinated with the unconscious moment, when the id emerges to overshadow the ego.  It is intriguing to have the freedom to assume other personae and experience the amazing transformations that can occur.
